Beyond Records
Beyond Records is an ethnographic ultra-running documentary uncovering how climate change is reshaping Himalayan glaciers and freshwater sources. Its pilot film (short version below) is featured on the official UN website for the 2025 International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation and has been screened in high-level policy dialogues, amplifying frontline mountain voices. The final full documentary is currently in production.

Beyond Records follows a high-altitude, 1,600 km run along the Great Himalaya Trail to document the rapidly changing Himalayan glaciers and its impact of local communities. This expedition blends athletic endurance with deep field immersion.

The project captures stories from mountain communities living with glacier retreat, water scarcity, and shifting weather patterns. Through interviews and local collaboration, it highlights lived realities often absent from global climate narratives.
